Introducing the Savant Systems 1400

This portable brewery on wheels is a HERMS system =Heat Exchanged Recirculating Mash System

Total finished brewing size is 10 gallons

The control panel is laid out like this

2 PIDs for HLT and MASH control the gas valves

The small one is a countdown timer, for hop additions, boil, mash, etc.

Next down, is a general pupose metering device , AC & amps for the stir motor load , system AC
Big one is a pH controller, this is excessive IMO, it can perform all kinds of internal pH calcs, and O2S levels, 18 different outputs , so on so on, I am using it to check pH on the out flow of the mash, as it recirculates through the heat exchanger, conversion of sugars. I have no means of altering pH during the process, just monitor the expected levels for water quality, grain bill, and future replication of recipes.
2 pumps and switches, on , off etc..

Recirculate: both pumps and the entire system for transfer of liquid and even a clean/sanitize mode, that utilizes heating of water for clean up.

This system was custom built from scratch, all the plans and designs are a patent pending design of Hammersmith Ales 2007
